Doug Morgan

Services for Doug Morgan, 75 of  Salado will be held at 11:00 AM, on December 1, 2011 at Salado United Methodist Church.

Doug was born and raised in Beaumont Texas.  He attended Lamar University and University of Houston.  He spent most of his life as an ad valorum Tax Consultant.  They lived in Cedar Creek Lake for 18 years.

Doug and Betty retired to Salado in 2006 where he was an active member of the Salado Lions Club, in charge of the Lions Eye Bank Program.  Doug was a Master Mason,  and a former member of the Hella Temple “Black Horse Patrol” and member of the  Knights Templar. 

Doug was a member of the Salado United Methodist Church.

Doug is survived by his wife Betty of 55 years, son Don, daughter Melissa, son-in-law Joe, granddaughter Chelsea and husband David, three great grandsons, Morgan, Mason and Clayton, and best friend Josh.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations to the SPCA in memory of all his close “four legged friends.”

A fellowship will take place after the service.
