Women’s Ministry at Salado United Methodist Church fourth annual, “Celebration 2009: Salado Meets Jazz,” 6-9 p.m. at Tenroc Ranch, Blue Heron Room. Guests will be treated to a Cajun-style meal and will have the opportunity to participate in both live and silent auctions. This year’s raffle will be for two free airline tickets to New Orleans, LA. Raffle tickets at $5 or 5 for $20. Event tickets are $22 advance and $25 at the door. Tables of eight can be purchased for $168. Event and raffle tickets will go on sale Sunday, May 31st. Cheer the hero and boo the villain in the Salado Silver Spur’s fifth annual melodrama, chock- full of slapstick and satire on stage, and, on screen, an original silent-movie chase sequence through the streets of Salado featuring citizens of The Village. SALADO CHRISTMAS TOUR OF HOMES
The Salado Historical Society will present its annual Christmas Tour of Homes and Historical Buildings on December 4, 5, & 6 from 5-8 pm on Friday, 10 am-5 pm on Saturday, and 1 pm-5 pm Sunday. The tour will feature several charming homes, historical buildings, and the Historical Log Cabins, all dressed for Christmas.

This popular event is held during the first weekend of the Salado Christmas Stroll, when stores will have late night shopping, carolers, and special holiday events.
